Apple Health notice
Last updated: May 2026 (draft)
Kip26's web app does not access Apple Health data. This page exists in preparation for the Kip26 mobile app (currently in early development), which will optionally read workout and heart-rate data from Apple HealthKit on iOS.
When the mobile app ships
The iOS app will request HealthKit read access only for the data types needed by the coach (workouts, heart rate samples during workouts, resting heart rate, body mass). It will not write to HealthKit and will not transmit HealthKit data to third parties beyond what is required to operate Kip26 (see our privacy policy).
Trademarks
Apple®, Apple Health®, and HealthKit® are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries. Kip26 is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple Inc.
TODO before mobile launch: write full HealthKit disclosures matching App Store Review Guideline 5.1.3 (Health Data), confirm we do not use HealthKit data for advertising or data mining, and link to the in-app Health permission prompt.
