Strava attribution
Last updated: May 2026 (draft)
Kip26 uses the Strava API to read your activities so the coach can analyze your training. Per Strava's API Agreement and Brand Guidelines, we display the "Powered by Strava" mark wherever Strava data is shown and provide this attribution page.
How we use Strava data
- Read your activities (start time, distance, duration, heart rate stream summaries, laps) to populate your training history in Kip26.
- Match Strava activities against planned workouts so the coach knows what you actually did.
- Use the data as input to coaching answers and plan adjustments.
We do not write to your Strava account. We do not post activities, kudos, or comments on your behalf.
OAuth scope and revocation
We request the minimum scope required to read your activities. You can revoke Kip26's access at any time from your Strava connected apps page, or by disconnecting Strava in the Kip26 Settings page.
Trademarks
Strava® and the Strava logo are trademarks of Strava, Inc. Kip26 is not endorsed by, certified by, or affiliated with Strava, Inc.
TODO before public launch: confirm exact branding asset (use the official "Powered by Strava" SVG from Strava's brand kit instead of the placeholder above), and confirm we meet the current Strava API Agreement (e.g., display Strava data within 24 hours of fetching, do not store HR/cadence streams beyond limits).
