Connecting Strava
Kip is a personal AI running coach. When you connect Strava, Kip imports your own activities — runs and other workouts, including distance, duration, pace, heart rate and splits — and uses them only to coach you: building your plan, analysing your sessions and answering your questions. Your Strava data is never shared with other athletes, sold, or used to train AI models.
To connect, go to Settings → Connections in the Kip app and choose Connect Strava. You'll be sent to Strava to authorise access, then returned to Kip. Activities sync automatically from then on.
Disconnecting Strava
You can disconnect at any time from Settings → Connections → Disconnect Strava in the Kip app. Disconnecting immediately stops all access to your Strava account and removes the activities Kip imported from it. You can also revoke Kip's access directly from your Strava connected-apps settings.
Your data & privacy
You can request a copy of your data, disconnect any service, or delete your account at any time — email hello@kip26.com and we'll take care of it. For the full detail on what we collect and how we use it, see our Privacy policy and Terms of service.
Other connected services
Garmin Connect works the same way: connect and disconnect from Settings → Connections in the app. Whichever service you use, Kip only reads your own activity data to coach you.
